Doug Bentall has more than 30 years’ public relations experience, having joined Iona Communications in 2008 from international business to business and technology specialist Mulberry Marketing Communications. He has particular expertise in the technology, recycling, paper, plastics, laundry, cleaning & hygiene and building & construction industries.

At Iona Doug’s specialisms include media relations, content creation, social media management, website creation and curation, online communications, email marketing and outsourced editorial writing.

Doug is also a freelance motoring writer.

Lucy Cottrell
Event Marketing

Iona Communications is possibly unique in being able to offer an integrated event marketing function run by Lucy that operates seamlessly with our event PR team.

Lucy has over 20 years’ experience in Event and Exhibition Marketing, working for publishers and event organisers including Crain Communications, Emap and Nexus Media. She has produced and executed successful marketing campaigns for B2B events within the plastics, recycling, building services, technology, communications and defence markets.

Andi Curry
North America

Our PR specialist for North America, Andi implements PR programs for Iona clients targeting the United States and Canada.

Ex-journalist Andi is an expert writer and skilled PR practitioner with excellent media contacts across diverse B2B media sectors in the region. She’s led successful media campaigns for Fortune 500 clients, also developing an annual contest that generates an average of 200 local and national media placements each year.  While she enjoys consumer campaigns, her heart is in the B2B space, working with clients across foodservice, healthcare, hospitality, building services and construction markets.
